RATIONALE.
GLOBAL AIM was established to implement sustainable development programs focusing on the thematic areas of Food Security and Livelihood, Health and Nutrition Education, Protection (GBV, Child Protection, Peace Building, Conflict and governance, etc.) WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene)
The program strives, to contribute to protecting venerable communities affected by protracted crisis against hunger and malnutrition and destitution, through strengthen the capacity of the communities for enhanced livelihood and increase household income for self-reliance and sustainability.
To promote access to clean safe water, proper sanitation and Hygiene management for improved quality of life. And to improve and promote capacity of the community to prevent and mitigate the impact of diseases.
GLOBAL AIM is backed by good policies, qualified and experienced staff who have worked both with national and international organizations and have had adequate relevant trainings in the programme thematic areas it also has relevant logistics to facilitate the provision of planned services. The organization uses rights based programming and an integrated approach which encompasses capacity building of target groups, local systems and structure strengthening for effective service delivery, information dissemination to increase community demand for services and positive behaviour change, improvement in natural resource management and advocacy for protection of human rights with focus on Children and women’s’ rights.
